The adjustable, customizable BullHug Harness is bulldog strong for even the strongest of breeds with extreme comfort for your fur baby.

Durable Design. BullHug harnesses are constructed with strong box stitching and zigzag stitching. Strong box stitching increases durability, strength, and stability. Box stitching is used for high stress ares and helps distribute force. The primary benefit of zigzag stitching is it offers flexibility and the ability to prevent fraying.

No Choke. BullHug Harness are completely non-choking. Specially designed with a beefy Metal Leash Ring for secure dog walks, the BullHug harness goes around the chest and is great for easy casual walks, jogging, hiking, or wherever you and your pup's adventures take you!

Goes on Easy! Unlike some harnesses, BullHug is incredibly easy to put on your pup. Just slip it over your dog's head, and clasp the heavy-duty fast-release plastic side release buckle.

Fully Adjustable. There two spots where you can adjust your BullHug Harness. Velcro adjustments around the chest make it very easy to size the Harness precisely to your dog's body for ultimate comfort. An additional plastic adjustment on the bottom of the harness lets you dial it in even further. The result is secure, strong, and comfortable, but offers room for growth.

Customizable Patches Give Your Dog Personality! Your pooch deserve a little swagger. Each BullHug Harness comes with a removable BullHug velcro patch that can be replaced with customizable patches that say your dog's name, Service Dog, or whatever you decide! ( Patches sold separate)

Keep your BULLHUG gear looking its best by checking the harness, leash, buckles, and hardware regularly for signs of wear or damage.

Please don’t allow your dog to chew on their harness, leash, buckle, or tag. Damage caused by chewing is not covered. If your pup chews a buckle, we may be able to repair it; shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

Always check the fit and make sure all straps, buckles, and attachments are secure before use.

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Custom name tags, custom/embroidered items, gift cards, and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. A 10–15% restocking fee may apply if an item is not returned in the condition in which it was sold.

Awesome Harness

We rescued a bulldog named Maverick in March 2026 from Southern California Bulldog Rescue. He already had a bull hug harness but we wanted to get him a new one. We will definitely be purchasing more. I highly recommend bull hug harnesses for your dog. They are comfortable,customizable,and don’t choke your dog.

The Good, The Bad, & The Furry

To start this review I will say there is no bad.

Bought this harness specifically for a recent vacation, and it exceeded expectations. The fit was snug and secure, which gave me total peace of mind in crowded, unfamiliar places. Best of all, it actually helped control pulling, making our daily walks way more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Best Harness

This has been the best harness yet for our 5 year old French Bulldog! And the color is beautiful!

Honestly one of the best harnesses for frenchies. My boy loves it. 10/10 recommend.

Thoughtful design, but could use improve improvement

When I first got the harness, I absolutely loved it because it was literally the easiest harness to put on my English bulldog. But then I noticed it started to loosen up on its own at the adjustment under the chest. It’s quite annoying to have to readjust almost every time. My bully has slipped out of her harness if I’m in front of her, and I have to give her a tug a few times, as it goes over her head.

Love it so much!

As a bulldog owner, I can confirm two things:

1) Bulldogs are built like little tanks.
2) If they don’t like something, the entire neighborhood will know.

Luckily, Willie Jack loves his BullHug harness. It fits his chunky bulldog body perfectly, it’s sturdy, and it’s clearly comfortable because there was zero bulldog protest when I put it on. That alone is a miracle.

The name options are awesome, and let’s be honest — Willie Jack looks ridiculously handsome in it. Like he’s ready to run security at the dog park.

10/10 from both of us. Willie Jack gives it two bulldog paws up. 🐾

Perfect for my Frenchie

My frenchie puppy is 4 months old and weighs about 20 pounds. The xs size fits him perfectly and he still has room to grow. Its been the best harness we've tried so far. Its extremely easy to take on and off. Would love to see more patterns/colors available in the future.

Yes absolutely. We recommend removing the Velcro Tags first. Then opening the harness up and using a lint roller to try and remove some of that dog hair. Let your HUG soak in some warm soapy water (dish soap works) for about an hour and then rinsing it and letting air dry.

Yes absolutely. Please email us first at Lindsey@bullhug.com and include a picture to confirm we have the piece available that was chewed. Customer will be responsible for shipping the Harness and BullHug will then ship back after it is fixed.

You may return your item/items within 30 days of your purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in unused and the same condition you received it. No returns or exchanges on Custom Tags. To start a return please email us at Lindsey@bullhug.com
